A Short Biography of
ROBERT R LANGFORD


Bob was born in New Bedford Massachusetts. His grandfather was a whaler who sailed on the famous whaling ship, The Morgan, which is now in Mystic Seaport.

Bob began carving at the age of eight years, drawing from his experience & heritage for ideas & mediums in which to work. He has traveled Europe extensively & has lived & worked in the Black Forest & Alaska. He is one of the foremost carvers in bone and ivory in the United States today. Bob now resides in Everett, Washington.
